To love,
But not possess.

To want to help,
But stay patient.

To courageously speak
But use gentle words.

To embrace,
But never shake.

To offer advice
Yet never judge.

To remain cool
In the heat
Of passions fiery blaze

To accept
And want no more.

Then, only then,
Will I be worthy
Of this life,
So generously given.
