Oh happy day,
when love comes,
and carries us all away.
Far above the clouds
so high may we float,
without any need for direction,
or destination’s insidous gloat.
Content to just be,
breath and soar.
Swooping down
through wondrous creation,
and wanting no more,
but to live, share,
learn and care.
Oh happy day,
when we may breathe
love’s air so fresh
rising far far above
mundane fear,
and its dangerous mesh.
And to the source return
where all is good,
and our hearts glow
from an unseen universal flame,
that, with or without us,
will always burn.
