Don’t rush yourself
is what whispers
in the leaves of the
trees. Look what
can happen when
you take your time.
Nothing that can live
ever appeared over-
night. The modern
world has brought
time to the immediate
and made us blind.
Be patient and take
your luck. And then
may the birds, of whom
you have no control
settle in your wide
branches, and sing
the glory of existence
held up on solid roots.
